Reviews
As the name of the restaurant suggests, this is a great place for dumplings and noodles.
We got the braised beef noodles, which featured chewy, slippery, thick hand pulled noodles and a hearty beefy broth with a bit of spice. Even if the noodles sit in the soup it doesn’t get soggy.
Dumplings were also very good, featuring the same quality of wrapper as the noodles. However, because they are pan fried, the tops got a bit hard. They offer some interesting fillings in addition to the standard pork and chive.
We also got the beef pancake and cucumber salad, both of which were very good
We went here for some quick bites on a Sunday. The place was not too busy and finding a place to park nearby was easy. We wanted some steamed dumplings but they didn't have many options. Surprisingly their steamed dumplings menu was very small. We took the pork cabbage and beef onion pan fried dumplings instead. Both were really good, flavorful, tasty and with a perfect spice level. We also took the cilantro spice beef which definitely stood out. I would recommend taking this one. It had a great balance of flavor with the cilantro coming in not too strong but surprisingly refreshing. Overall I like the place.
Not an authentic Chinese food spot if that’s what you are looking for. Garlic string beans are too garlicky. Noodles tasted interesting. The dumplings had broken skin - never seen that in a restaurant
Food was A-Mazing! We tried a wide variety of everything including their vegan/vegetarian options. The broth in the soups was very flavorful and the meat in mine was so good. I don’t think I could pick specific favorites since everything was so good to me. Definitely plan on checking out their Kirkland location too. Will definitely be back!
Came highly recommended from a friend and didn’t disappoint - nice friendly staff, didn’t feel rushed at at all even with a nice weekend lunch crowd. Vibey room and really great dumplings. Salads were a bit meh but would come back in a second to get more of the chicken and corn dumplings. The duck is def high on my list of things to try next time too.
I went here as I wanted to try the vegan explorer as a part of the SRW. The food tasted good, the service was great and it's very affordable!
If I am to be nitpicky, I would say it would have been nice if they offered a meal in SRW catering to a one person meal. Since I wanted to taste everything, I ordered it and packed the leftovers.
Dumpling The Noodle exceeded all of my expectations, the food was remarkable and the service was enthusiastic and very attentive. We started with the green onion pancakes which were some of the better I’ve had in my life. They were perfectly cooked, crispy and flakey, and not greasy at all. Next came the sweet and sour cucumber, which was good and fresh although could’ve been skipped. The sweet chili fried chicken was well cooked and crispy, not too much batter, and had a good flavor. The dumplings are the star of the show (obviously), we ordered the signature pork onion buns and the bulgogi beef pan fried dumplings. They were both extremely juicy and perfectly cooked. In the future I would try more dumplings and the noodles. I prefer Dumpling the Noodle to Dough Zone because it feels authentic and family orientated with great ambiance. Definitely check out Dumpling the Noodle, as it’s a hidden gem amongst Seattle dumpling giants.
This was my first time eating here and the food was damn tasty.
For starters we had the green onion pancake and house sweet chilli fried chicken which was cooked perfectly and the flavor was too good.
For the main course we had the vegan buns, dumplings and their lamen. All of them tasted delicious.
The service was fast and the staff were friendly.
Can’t wait to be back.
